Nadia Saad Noori

Dr. Nadia Saad Noori is an associate professor at the ICT department in the University of Agder and the Principal Investigator of the research cluster for Cyber Resilient Organizations and Societies at CIEM-UiA. Dr. Noori is Marie Skłodowska-Curie alumnae with background in computer and control systems engineering. She has over 20 years of combined experience between industry and academia. She holds both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering from Baghdad University, with focus on design and development of SCADA systems for electrical energy sector. Furthermore, holds an M.A.Sc. in Technology Innovation Management (TIM) from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada; with focus on open-source platforms for real-time communications and collaboration. In 2016, she obtained her PhD title from LaSalle Ramon Llull University in Barcelona Spain, in Electronic and Information Systems Engineering with focus on applications of graph theory and complex networks analysis to understand coordination and resource distribution in complex systems.

Her research interests within Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence field are focused on the applications of ML/AI methods to solve problems and challenges related to industrial systems like SCADA systems, and the applications of AI/ML methods to enable increased resilience of cyber-physical infrastructure systems.
