Svein Anders is a PhD research fellow at the University of Agder. He completed his MSc degree in Electrical Engineering at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1991. He worked as research scientist at SI (Senter for Industriforskning) and SINTEF within the field of mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) from 1992 to 1996. He was co-founder of Chipcon, a leading supplier of low power radio frequency integrated circuits and radio protocols, that was acquired by Texas Instruments in 2006. The latest years he has worked with technology companies mainly through board member positions. He has a broad range of technology interests, including IC design, radio communications and machine learning. Currently, at CAIR, he is working on low-power hardware implementations of machine learning systems based on Tsetlin Machine.
